Reds blast Brewers to improve to MLB best 11-3 in last 14 games

There is no team in baseball with a better record than the Cincinnati Reds' 11-3 mark since May 29th. Aristides Aquino put the Brewers to bed for good in his first start back of the IL with a two-run bomb. The Reds won 10-2 to get to within three games back in the loss column behind the Brewers and Cubs.

Reds B Lineup blasts their way past the Brewers

The Reds entered play on Friday having not scored in 23 consecutive innings. David Bell put out a lineup that featured Matt Davidson, Curt Casali and Christian Colon in the heart of the order. The Reds of course scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning, started off by a Kyle Farmer RBI-double and capped with a Matt Davidson 3-run bomb. Trevor Bauer continued his dominance, and he is a legit early season NL Cy Young candidate. The three game losing streak is over.
