The Cincinnati Reds (60-68) will try to avoid being swept by the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates (54-75). The Pirates have not won three straight games since July 1-3, and they have not swept a series since late June.
Well, it was quite the interesting night in Cincinnati. I won't even attempt to break it down and will just direct you to Jeff Carr's recap. Somehow, someway the Cincinnati Reds (49-56) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (47-60) will try to play a baseball game about 14 hours later at 12:35 PM. The Reds are going for their third consecutive series win. Oh....and it's hug watch during today's game as the trade deadline will be right around the conclusion of today's game. Buckle up.
