Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates – September 14, 2021

The Cincinnati Reds (75-69) have not been playing their best baseball, but the Reds took over sole possession of the NL second wild card spot during the off-day yesterday when the Padres lost 9-1 to the Giants. The Reds control their own destiny now with a half game lead in a crowded race. The Reds magic number is 19.

Detroit Tigers at Cincinnati Reds – September 3, 2021

The Cincinnati Reds (72-63) are down to 27 games remaining in the baseball season as they cling to 0.5 game lead for the final playoff spot in the National League. The Reds will begin a three game series with the Detroit Tigers (63-72) at GABP tonight at 7:10 PM. The Tigers might have the exact opposite record as the Reds and be 9-games below .500, but make no mistake about it - this will be one of the most difficult series remaining on the calendar for the Reds.

Cincinnati Reds at Atlanta Braves – August 10, 2021

Two of the hottest teams in baseball will square off for the first of three games tonight at Truist Park in Atlanta at 7:20 PM. The Cincinnati Reds (61-52) are 10-3 in their last 13 games, and they have played .619 baseball since May 30th with a 39-24 record. The Atlanta Braves (57-55) have won 5 of 6 to revive a season that was put on life support. They are just 2.0 games back now in the NL East, a division the Reds would be leading by a game and half if they were in it.

They will start a series with the NL East leading New York Mets (54-47) in Queens, NY tonight at 7:10 PM.
