Hunter Greene

I’ve come to accept that Hunter Greene is just not one of a pitcher who can pitch efficiently, at least not right now. Can he be that pitcher? Yes, because location and command is something that can be learned even at the big league level, and Greene is still 23 years old and only in his sophomore season. You know what he does do well though? He gets outs–just look at his strike out rate. Greene’s K% is at 33.2%, almost three percentage points higher than his rookie season. Think about that for a second. He’s striking out 33 percent of the batters he faces. That’s really good.

One difference from last season is that Greene’s BABIP currently sits at .353, which is kind of high. In 2022, it was at .281. More batters are putting the ball in play against him now; however, more of those balls are ground balls instead of fly balls. His ground ball percentage is at 32.7% compared to 29.3% last year. His fly ball percentage is down to 46.9% from 48.5% a year ago, and his HR/FB rate is at 10.5% compared to 16.1% in 2022.

Brandon Bielak

Right-hander Brandon Bielak was an 11th round draft pick by the Astros in 2017. He made his debut in 2020 and got shelled during the shortened season, giving up 24 earned runs in 32 innings. He’s been up and down between Triple-A and the big league club over the last three seasons. In 2021 and 2022, Bielak mainly pitched out of the bullpen, only starting two games out of 33 appearances, and pitching to a 4.50 and a 3.65 ERA in those respective years. However, this season, with the departure of Justin Verlander in the off-season, the Astros have slotted Bielak into the fifth starting spot. He’s started seven of the eight games he’s appeared in 2023 and is eight innings shy of the most innings he’s pitched at the major league level.

In his short career, Bielak has pitched better to left-handed batters. Right-handed batters have a career .300 batting average and a .951 OPS in 330 plate appearances. However, this season, it’s the lefties that are hitting better against him. Left-handed batters have a .953 OPS against him in 2023 compared to a .893 OPS against right-handed hitters. He’s also striking out right-handed hitters a lot less than lefties this year, which has not been the case for his career overall.

Minor League Update

Rece Hinds is still raking at Chattanooga, and an update on the rehab assignments at Lousiville.

Will the Reds be Buyers at the Trade Deadline?

With the Reds now being a half game out of first place, the talk has turned to whether or not the Reds will be buyers at the trade deadline in a little more than a month and you can find out what Nick Krall said about that here.

Uh oh. Tragically, Senzel in left field. Outrage sure to follow.

    • Hanawi

I know you’re the biggest Bell defender on the site, but starting Senzel against a RHP goes against all analytics, which everyone told me was Bell’s strong suit (obviously not true). I can only assume Fairchild is not available as he is definitely the superior choice.

      • Beaufort Red

Fairchild superior to Senzel. Now that’s funny. But I know you know more than a Major League manager.

      • Hanawi

Fairchild OPS versus RHP – .705
Senzel OPS versus RHP – .533

Senzel is awful against righties. He’s a pure platoon player at best, but isn’t as good defensively as Fairchild. He has killed lefties but has a much smaller sample size. Doesn’t take a genius to be smarter than Bell.

      • Old-school

You are correct. Howver, senzel has trade value and costs $$$ and Reds arent tendering him in Dec so they are marketing him for a trade. He leads MLB in BA against lefties and is good defensively 3b and prob 2b.

Fairchild is none of that and also well below avg hitter against righties with wRC+ 86 so its not like they are benching george foster. He also had neck spasm/ tightness recently

      • Old-school

      • Hanawi

Senzel has trade value? Not sure I believe that. Senzel also has all of 44 at bats against lefties, so it’s a pretty small sample size.

      • greenmtred

And since others have made my points very well, I’ll just add that you misunderstand my position which, I acknowledge, sounds like defense of Bell, when my intent is to point out that some of the criticism of him is based on unwarrented assumptions and, more importantly, the assignment of far more importance to the manager’s ability to affect the team’s record than he actually has.

      • greenmtred

When JB said day to day, he was right. Fairchild has neck stiffness and is available as a pinch hitter. Needs must.

      • RedBB

Senzel has trade Value? We shall see. I mean he is controlled for 2 more years. He’s basically Clint Frazier with less production. How much trade value that is I don’t know. He is precariously close to getting DFA’d

      • Hanawi

Sorry for discussing Reds players on a Reds message board.

      • old-school

ITs not a message board… Doug hates that. Its his website that allows comments.

  2. JB

Got to much to do today to follow. Will watch the game later. Hoping the boys can keep the train a rollin today. Just going to watch them play the rest of the year and enjoy the ride. The kids are Alright.

  3. Melvin

Rece Hinds may end up being a key piece in a trade.

  4. Kevin H

Keep in mind Hunter Greene is two years behind. Never pitched college ball. Considering he was hurt I believe all of 2019 and 2020 was covid.

If he had run support his win/loss record may look a little different.

    • Kevin H

I should add, I agree though right now he isn’t pitch efficient

    • Hanawi

That’s a still from a video Votto posted on Instagram that strongly hinted he was on his way back to the team.

  5. Mark Moore

That’s a solid start for the boys. Moonshot!!

  6. Tom Mitsoff

I just deleted the post I had typed that India shouldn’t be batting third any longer. 😉

      • Kevin H

Thanks, and that is good to see. Didn’t do too much.

I saw video after I had sent the question. Lol

  7. Tom Mitsoff

Wow, Pena has looked like horse patooty defensively in this series.

    • Mark Moore

A little different from what we saw with Bobby Witt, yes?

  8. Mark Moore

    2 E-6 and we’re just starting … 😮

  9. Hanawi

I’m sure a grand slam is coming from Nick now that I’ve posted about how bad he is against RHP.

    • greenmtred

I wouldn’t bet on it. You’re right: he doesn’t hit righties well.

  10. Mark Moore

I supposed 3 E-6’s would have been asking a bit much. Still ran the pitch count up. And 2 runs to start is a good thing.

  11. Dennis Westrick

Not to pile on, but Senzel just left the bases loaded! Reds continue their awful hitting with RISP! At least India got us off to a good start! Need a solid 6 innings, or more, from Greene today! Our bullpen has got to be running on fumes!

    • Mark Moore

With 2 outs and he’s in his 2nd game back from rehab. So I’ll cut Nick some slack there. He did put it in play rather than whiff.

      • Daytonnati

Plus, I don’t think he did it on purpose 🙂

  12. Dennis Westrick

Houston batters not taking a lot of pitches early in this game! Let’s see if that changes as the game goes on!

    • Mark Moore

Will put the emphasis on throwing strikes with enough movement to miss bats or get them to hit squib shots.

NOT like that flair over 2nd Pena just hit.

  13. Mark Moore

These strike calls are pretty casual. Almost delayed. But as long as his zone is consistent and relatively accurate 😛

  14. Mark Moore

A lesson in how to hurt your own pitcher right there 😮

  15. Indy Red Man

Casali for President! This HG could be an ace eventually. The Ks will sort themselves out

  16. Mark Moore

Feels like a gift if we escape with only 1 run here. Tucker hit that a ton!!

  17. Dennis Westrick

Let’s hope that walk by HG does not come back to haunt!

  18. DHud

Sooo…HOU may be in the market for a SS? Do reds have any of those MLB ready and expendable? Anywhere??

  19. Dennis Westrick

And, right on cue, the batter that was walked scores! I HATE WALKS!

  20. Mark Moore

MattyMc almost thought about that a little too much. Good thing he had plenty of time and Steer grabbed it.

  21. Indy Red Man

Only mistake was giving Tattoo from Fantasy Island exactly what he was looking for…something up and away

    • Dennis Westrick

Hilarious! Altuve is like that mosquito that gets in your house that buzzes around and bites you multiple times!

      • Mark Moore

And can put one over the fence at any time 😀

    • Mark Moore

He’s a good “pure hitter” and is finding his swing again.

  22. Mark Moore

This time Benson didn’t hesitate and made it with room to spare.

Just need a Sac Fly from Nick at minimum.

  23. SR

Greene is nearly 50 pitches into this game and is only throwing fast balls and sliders. How is he growing as a pitcher if he is still only throwing two pitches? Where is any pitch that changes speeds? And any plus we get from Casali handling Greene is negated by his inability to come anywhere close to throwing out baserunners. Time to go to a two catcher roster.

  24. RedsMonk65

HELP! Any techies out there? I am a longtime subscriber to MLB.tv’s Audio/Radio Broadcast only package (At Bat). Normally I can listen to any game, anywhere on my laptop–good value, I thought, for $30 per year. Suddenly, yesterday, I was unable to stream the audio for ANY game (not just the Reds). Same today. I’ve tried everything I can think of. MLB.tv, of course, is not responding to my pleas for support help.

Anyone else having this issue? Anyone have any ideas?

(Radio is no good where I live–too far away from any Reds affiliates, and no cable/satellite TV provider in these parts carries the Reds. Also, full TV streaming package on MLB.tv wouldn’t work for me since all Reds games are — inconceivably — blacked out). The audio feed is the only real option I have.

Would be most grateful if anyone can unlock this mystery for me. Otherwise, I remain “disconnected.” Go Reds!

    • Mark Moore

“Hello, IT … have you tried turning it off and back on again?”

Seriously though, are you only using the phone app, or are you trying to access via a computer browser?

Phone app – uninstall and reinstall it to see if perhaps a recent update frogged things up.

Browser – try a different browser and/or clear cookies/data for the past few days. Or try a different computer.

      • RedsMonk65

Thanks. Yes, I’ve tried all that. (I am on a browser — with a laptop). I’ve turned it off and then on again, tried a different browser, and cleared cookies. Not sure what else to do. Driving me nuts!

      • Mark Moore

Had to ask the basic 1st level questions.

What kind of error message is it giving you? Or is it just “stalling”?

Have you tried the phone app? That seems to be pretty solid for me, especially for the WLW feed.

      • RedsMonk65

No error message — just the spinning circle. I don’t have a phone (I know, hard to believe), so don’t have the app for that. I’ve used this on my laptop for about 8 years now, and it has always (OK, usually) worked fine.

    • Mark Moore

That’s very strange. Not sure where to go from there. I’m on a Windows 11 device using Chrome, so I haven’t had issues like that. I do recall times on older laptops where that was an issue.

      • RedsMonk65

This is a brand new Microsoft Surface Laptop. Can’t understand it. Everything was working fine until yesterday. I’ll keep fiddling around. Sorry to take you away from the game ….. Wish I was able to listen to it! Thanks for your help.

    • Laura

I have same situation, so I bring up 700 wlw on aol.com and it offers Listen to Reds live. I click on that and it beings up a large arrow pointing right, click on that and wlw comes on. Try that tomorrow if you’re still having problems. Good luck.

      • RedsMonk65

Thanks, Laura. I will try that tomorrow. Just so frustrating. I have tried everything. Customer support has been unresponsive. MLB has a lot to work on — they just don’t seem to get what it means to be “fan friendly.”

  25. Old-school

Curt casali with the bunt to get the run. What a play

  26. Mark Moore

Suicide squeeze by Casali … and he clogged that basepath perfectly!

    • Dennis Westrick

Don’t know why we don’t do that more often! And why not Senzel?

      • Mark Moore

With Senzel, if he did bunt it that way, Benson is likely thrown out. Part of that score was the fact that Casali’s melon was right in the way of a throw. Senzel would have been past that point.

But I get it. And I’d like to see it more often as well.

    • SR

I think that was a safety squeeze, but a great bunt by Casali. Any MLBer that knows how to bunt does get points for that.

      • Mark Moore

Yep. You are correct. Benson wasn’t breaking on the pitch. Either way, Casali did his job PERFECTLY!

  27. Dennis Westrick

HG would be at less than 40 pitches if not for the 2 walks! Just saying!

    • Mark Moore

That one was textbook. Like what we saw repeatedly from Bobby Witt, Jr.

      • Dennis Westrick

Bobby Witt, Jr. is a human highlight film on how to play SS!

  28. Mark Moore

A much needed 1-2-3 inning for Hunter and the boys. That add-on run worth it’s weight in infield clay.

  29. Dennis Westrick

Stupid Cubs won and the Bernies are up early on the Pie-Rats!

    • Mark Moore

Stupid Cubs will take care of themselves. Bernies and Pie-Rats beating each other up is a good thing.

  30. MK

At what point does Management realize that Stephenson and Senzel hit better when they catch and play third base respectively?

  31. Mark Moore

MattyMc might just be legit … just maybe … perhaps … 😀

  32. Old-school

Reds need some pitching help. They dont need offensive help. They need addition by subtraction. EDLC,McLain, Steer and India are nuclear parts of this infield. Sure, bring Votto to the mix but DH a lot and 6 hole but the Reds dont need Senzel nor do they need Myers. If Steer and CES can help a couple games a week to balance things in the OF till the off-season, fine.

    • Mark Moore

Homecoming for Mikey Biceps … though a LOT of teams will be sniffing for his services.

      • Tom Mitsoff

I wouldn’t give up a whole lot for him with his injury history.

      • Old-school

        +1000

        With your permission of course…..

  33. Indy Red Man

Elly’s swing looking long like Jason Hayward’s right now. He’ll get it going

  34. Mark Moore

Time for TySteve to wake up today. A shot to the Crawford Boxes would look great to me.

  35. Tom Mitsoff

This could become the moment that Benson seals a spot on this roster for himself. 🙂

    • MBS

Nope, those moments have already happened. This moment gets him in the lineup more often.

  36. Matt McWax

They should have 30 runs against Bialik.

  37. Bet on Red

Benson heard CES getting corner outfield reps

  38. MBS

Benson is killing it, I don’t see why so many people think he’d be likely to get sent down next.

  39. Mark Moore

Benson pretty much on fire today. Nice, clean shot up the middle.

  40. Indy Red Man

Maybe just maybe Benson is so good that he needs to play every day. Won’t be this year. Bell has done a good job this year, but he would’ve platooned the Babe for ,2-3 years atleast

  41. Steve Schoenbaechler

Sight test – Greene looks like he isn’t getting his fastball over very well today. It looks like he’s falling off of it.

    • Ted Alfred

Well you get a 5-1 lead and then you walk the #9 to lead off the next inning, then a throw out and then another walk. For Greene to make the next progression he just has to consistently throw more strikes… bottom line. If his fastball control doesn’t get better he’ll never be that good of a pitcher.

    • Mark Moore

Something is off. Pitch count isn’t obnoxiously high. Chumpire seems consistent enough. Just not getting it done.

      • Steve Schoenbaechler

That’s the thing. His pitchcount isn’t that high today. Actually, it’s low for Hunter. But, his fastball has been everywhere.

    • Steve Schoenbaechler

I won’t say I know everything about pitching. I only remember what some announcers said about why Seaver’s fastball was so good. Not only because it was fast, but that Seaver, on all of his pitches, he was going forward to the plate. Seaver wanted to protect against that twisting action, what some pitchers use to get the extra torque to get more power but less control. Seaver was all about “going forward off the mound”. One reason why he always had a dirty right knee.

Greene looks like he’s turning out too much to me, needing to concentrate on going forward more.

  42. Mark Moore

Nice throw and tag. Needed that out.

  43. Tom Mitsoff

Greene has to get back on track ASAP. All of a sudden he’s all over the place.

  44. LT

Key hits from different players game after game. Amazing. That’s what it takes to keep winning streak going

  45. Steve Schoenbaechler

Just saw Altuve’s double. I would keep Greene on a short leash from here.

  46. Mark Moore

Benson was right on that throw. Saved that run.

Now just focus on Bregman, HG.

  47. Beaufort Red

With all the talent in the world, Hunter is still mainly a thrower. I may be wrong but unfortunately he reminds me more and more of Bailey. Maybe he’ll clean up his pitches.

  48. Mark Moore

    The Will Benson show, folks!!!

Enjoy the ride while it lasts. And I hope it lasts a LONG time.

  49. LT

Green dialed up a bit, reached triple digit the last 2 fastballs. He has 1 more inning in him. Send him back out for the 6th

    • Mark Moore

Yep. Short leash, but send him in.

  50. Mark Moore

I’ll be taking a pause from commenting for a bit. Nearing time to cook burgers on my flat-top griddle. Part of my Father’s Day weekend extravaganza (homemade pizza tomorrow night).

    • Steve Schoenbaechler

I will take mine medium rare.

      • Mark Moore

On the flat-top, you get ’em how I cook ’em. Nice crust on both sides. Plenty juicy. Griddled onions and cheese if you want them. And I’m usually a medium or medium rare guy.

  51. SR

They showed him flexing and bending in dugout between 4th and 5th. If your hip stiffened up, might explain him getting wilder than usual. Given his strikeout total, doesn’t have his “A”stuff today.

    • Hanawi

Nice to see him battling out there and keeping the Astros from putting runs on the board. Hope he doesn’t need any IL time but given they skipped him once already, it might do him some good.

  52. Optimist

    Friedl 0-2 to a walk – excellent.

  53. Slucc50

Hunter an out away from six innings of two run baseball against the Astros…..I’ll take it. Especially without his best stuff today!

  54. Old-school

I like this game from Greene. Maybe its just the Astros are super aggressive but I’ll take 5-1 reds after 6 innings every day and twice on Sunday.

Dont sleep on the Cubs. They may have the best SP depth in the division.

    • Optimist

A very professional start, even with that HR, and the BBs, and if he’s still a bit stiff in the hip. The definition of a good quality start.

  55. Kevin H

6 innings of two run baseball. Great game for Greene and the Reds scored runs for him. LOL

  56. old-school

Fraley in the dugout congratulating Greene.

  57. Kevin H

Back to Back quality starts from Abbott and Greene. Against the Astros not easy to do

  58. Dennis Westrick

Again, if Greene doesn’t issue 4 walks he probably makes it thru the 7th inning and maybe into the 8th!

    • Kevin H

Agree, however I think we can agree he didn’t let the walks lead to runs. Made the pitches and got the Astros out.

  59. Kevin H

oh, anyone here if Fairchild is available today?

  60. old-school

Reds bullpen #1 in baseball in fWAR and Reds #2 in baserunning. they were 29 last year.

SP depth is the only thing preventing this team from being a playoff team.

  61. old-school

Reds bullpen #1 in baseball in fWAR and Reds #2 in baserunning. they were 29 last year.

SP depth is the only thing preventing this team from being a playoff team.

    Benson isnt going anywhere

  62. Slicc50

I’ll tell you what…. I really love this team. I know they will only go as far as the pitching will take them this year. Things look really good going forward, FINALLY! How about Benson???

  63. Reddawg2012

I think I’ve seen enough of Nick Senzel. Especially now that Will Benson is thriving.

    • Kevin H

It is truly amazing to me how he can hit 175 against right handed pitching and 455 against left handed pitching. I think he should play against left handers more so than right.

Nick to me is a solid player at 3rd and well I haven’t seen him in left however I myself like his game

      • Reddawg2012

I agree, I’m fine with him playing against LHP and at 3B in more of a utility role. But it seems like Bell is committed to starting him every game. Maybe they are trying to build trade value, I don’t know.

  64. Steve Schoenbaechler

Benson, up through May 28, before being called down, .074/.107/.074

After that, .333/.429/.476, not including today.

    DA**!!!

  65. Indy Red Man

Cashed $203 on $25 same game parlay. Bielak 5+ hits, Stephenson RBI, Reds over 4.5. DraftKings cut the boosts to $25 limit though

  66. Dennis Westrick

Once again, Altuve is a pain in the you know what!

  67. Reddawg2012

    I know this isn’t really a thing, but still…

I wish Sadak and Welsh would stop making premature comments about how well the pitchers are doing.

Bottom 6, Chris Welsh on Hunter Greene: “He has really come out with an increased focus here in the 6th innings. He looks like a different pitcher.” Next pitch, Astros homer.

Bottom 7, Sadak on Gibaut: Wow, Gibaut is really hitting his spots today. Looking real good”. Next pitch, Astros homer.

Can we save the praise for after that third out in the inning is made? 🙂

    • VaRedsFan

      Announcer’s curse is real.
      Exists in every sport.

      • greenmtred

You’re right. Fans’ curse, little understood, is real, too. I know that I have to carefully manage my thoughts when the Reds are ahead.

  68. Kevin H

How does the fastest man in baseball ground into a double play? LOL Not being able to watch it, I assume they are bang bang plays??

    • Indy Red Man

And he got thrown out from the grass behind 2nd base. Love Elly but he’s not Primetime fast. Not even close

    • VaRedsFan

      Wasn’t a missle….but right at the 2Bman…taylor made

    • Slicc50

Exit velo on that one was 100.7. Looks like Elly stung that ball as well

    • MannDriessen

He wasn’t even close to beating that out. Didn’t seem to get out of the box fast enough. He’s done this (GIDP) twice lately.

  69. Indy Red Man

They might be Atlanta level relentless if they ever call CES up. They need to reward Stuey and Benson for all around solid play by biting the bullet w Myers and cutting him loose

  70. VaRedsFan

Super high difficulty pick at 1st by Steer.

  71. Tom Mitsoff

Spencer Steer doesn’t have all of the “tools” that some of the prospects and rookies have, but he’s quickly growing on me as an indispensable member of this team for the next several years. He is GREAT on scoops at first base, makes contact well and doesn’t strike out. Put me in the Spencer Steer fan club.

    • greenmtred

Me too. He brings infielder skills on grounders with him when he plays first.

      • greenmtred

Plus he must be one of the fastest first basemen in MLB.

  72. Steve Schoenbaechler

Well, Brewers did their job. So, if we win, we’re tied for first with the Brew Crew.

  73. VaRedsFan

    Sims closing.
Well he’s warming up as of now.

  74. Slicc50

5 plate app. 5 times on base! Nice!

  75. Steve Schoenbaechler

Boy, Astros with 7 walks today.

  76. old-school

Senzels career playing against RH pitching ends today.

  77. Slicc50

I’ll just say it. Newman has to stay as a bench player right? Dude has been clutch all season

    • VaRedsFan

For sure, although he was never in jeopardy of being replaced.

    • greenmtred

You’ll get no argument from me. For a guy who can’t hit righties, he’s been hitting righties lately.

    • Hanawi

He’s the top of the list for trades in my opinion, mostly because they are running out of space for infielders on the roster. He can play SS, so that should help entice someone.

  78. VaRedsFan

    Big hit by Newman.
Sims down, Cruz for the 9th.

  79. Steve Schoenbaechler

5 runs up. . .I’d put in a reliever who hasn’t seen action for a while.

  80. Kevin H

After today Nick should play against left handed pitching only LOL

  81. MK

So they have subbed down to just one catcher. Stephenson and Casali both out of the game. Mailes is it. Who is emergency catcher now?

  82. Old-school

    Sadak hilarious

McLain loops one into right ……..and it’s off the top of the wall for a triple.

    • Votto4life

I thought the same thing..thing came about 1/3 of an inch from leaving the yard.

    • greenmtred

I’ll say it: is he a keeper, Melvin?

      • Melvin

NO ONE else can have him. 🙂 He’s ours.

  83. VaRedsFan

can’t believe how far Mclains ball traveled. Triple!!

  84. Slicc50

Yeah, I can’t argue. He pretty much blew right past JB and hasn’t looked back

  85. Melvin

Win this game and second is ours all by ourselves. 🙂

  86. greenmtred

Are we watching the birth of the Little Red Machine?

    • old-school

I will sign up for that. Congrats RLN fans as we enter Father’s Day. Great time to be a reds fans. It’s been a decade since we had this level of enthusiasm for the future entering mid june.
      Go Reds.

      • Melvin

At least we get to watch baseball on a holiday tomorrow. 🙂

    • Daytonnati

The Next Red Machine! Or maybe The New Red Machine?

  87. Melvin

1 game over .500 and officially in 2nd place. 🙂

  88. Steve Schoenbaechler

We are in second by mere percentage points.

    0.51428 to 0.51388

  89. TR

When you’re on, you’re on. Hard to believe in this year of sorting but the Reds have a winning record.

  90. Mark Moore

First, the burgers were fantastic as usual. Y’all should drop by for one at some point. 😛

    Second … WOW-HOLY-FREAKING-WOW!!!

The add-on was special. I know I’m not alone in thinking MattyMc might have had himself an inside the parker. Just unreal to watch this unfold.

I have to think they will be playing loose as a goose tomorrow on getaway day. I wonder how many toothpicks Dusty wore out 😮

  91. RedBB

Senzel 0-5 while leaving multiple players LOB. Gotta think his days are numbered in one way or another. Sad as he definitely looked a lot better at times this year…..

    • Votto4life

Maybe he is just rusty from being on the IL, but he looked terrible today, especially on that last at bat when he went down on three pitches.

  92. old-school

Very happy for Will benson. Struggled in Cleveland, great ST,,,then awful start of the season and now success. Good for him.

Hes a part of this puzzle for sure.

  93. Mark Moore

Benson’s wife and baby in the stands … what a first Father’s Day weekend for Will.

  94. Dennis Westrick

Think about this! Reds scored 10 runs BUT left 11 men on base!

  95. Melvin

Votto not coming up yet. He’s in the lineup tonight. Barrero leading off at SS. CES at 3B which is his third position in three games. hahaha He’s begging to come up. I’d think he’d even play catcher. lol
