Our good friend and legendary funk bassist Freekbass joins me once again to discuss the latest news for the Reds. We also discuss how it’s possible to remain optimistic in the face of discouraging news for Reds fans over the last few weeks. Turns out that it’s possible!
We also do a bit of a deep dive into the latest installment in the James Bond franchise. Bond fan or not, you need to listen to this.

Ummm.. At the top it says its podcast 399 and on the cast itself it is saying it’s 398. Also Doug Gray is talking and with Chat not Freakbass as the description describes.
Just thought I would let you all know.
Fixed.
I know this is a stretch but I wish the Reds could make a play for Matt Chapman. Suarez could be the DH. I know moving Moustakas would have to happen first. Chapman would be a beast at Great American.
think they should try to sign clint frazier
Yah I saw he got released they like him from what I have heard in the past.
If for some reason Kyle Farmer does not slot at the super utility guy, or if CIN thinks his $2.2M projected A1 salary is too much for a super utility guy, these are the teams that are arguably the best fits in a trade: BAL, LAA, PHI, NYY. That is based on poor 2021 WAR (total or defense) and with their top SS prospect starting 2021 at the A-ball level.
I think Farmer is a great player for CIN but Barrero is the future as he is under control for 5-6 years. He looked like one of the very best prospects in the league at the Futures Game and throughout most of the minor league season.
Farmer may have played himself into a starting SS situation. Guessing NYY will spend big to solve that need, so that will leave BAL, LAA and PHI.
Hope he stays but we’ll see.
