The Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers will not be playing a baseball game tonight. This comes after initially the Milwaukee Bucks chose to not play their NBA game tonight, and the other five teams in the NBA decided to follow suit and sit out the playoff games this evening. After the shooting of Jacob Blake by police, and then further violence and murder charges being filed against someone today after shooting three people during protests last night in the same town, the NBA made the first move. The Brewers held a team meeting earlier today to discuss what they would do, and they decided, along with the Reds, that they too would strike tonight.
The Reds have agreed not to play as well. No forfeit situation. Both teams have agreed to sit out tonight’s game. https://t.co/BZJAg8GujJ

Both teams, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com/Brewers.com, voted unanimously to not play the game tonight.
A source tells https://t.co/e8tXe3x8Cj that Brewers and Reds players decided unanimously not to play tonight at Miller Park.
