Bill Lack and I got together to discuss the current state of the Reds: fourth place! We talked about recent results, and whether the Reds will ever start looking like the team we expected on a consistent basis. Plus, an exceptionally rousing edition of Viewer Mail.

* sorry, I’ve been waiting 4 years to chant that.

I have been a Reds fan since the mid fifties and have seen many players during this time. I have not seen such a hungrier bunch. What I mean by this is they just can’t wait to start swinging the bat no matter what the pitcher throws. It’s like they are late for dinner and they had be there an hour ago. The batting instructor should teach them more patients at plate instead of see ball hit ball if you can. I have seen them swing at pitches they could hit with an foot 2×4. Maybe someone can straighten them out.
The Reds have been my team for about 50 years. I love my Reds!!!!!
