Nick, I liked the tweet about preserving one more game for Senzel and/or Scooter !!!
I am of the mindset that you play the game to win the game.So often in the past and not only on our team but others the game is lost while our best relievers watch because of closer rules and this guy can only go two days in a row and never 3 and he warmed up yesterday so that kinda sorta means he pitched in the game etc etc.I think Bell understands all of that because he has been around the block and I think in some cases he may go that way but never always.I think he has a feel for the game and will never go by the book just for the sake of going by the book which is the easy way out.In reality some say that what a manager does or doesn’t do has very little outcome on the game because players either perform or don’t.Personally I just hope he puts the players and the team in the best position to win games they have a chance to win.
