Jason Linden and I got together again this week to discuss a number of Reds topics, including the question of who will be the Opening Day starting pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds. Other topics: what to do with Robert Stephenson and Michael Lorenzen, plus a particularly rousing edition of Viewer Mail.

Their #5 starter for opening day? Interesting strategy, definitely keeps everyone off balance

It’s going to be Homer. The Royals give up on Bailey and release him before opening day. Castellini demands that the Reds pick him up off the scrap heap for league minimum. Homer loses opening day and is the #1 starter all year. He goes 1-29 with 14.8 ERA.

This is the most likely scenario TBH.
