Tucker vs. Billy. Could be interesting if Hamilton gets on base.

      Matthew

Haven’t we been through this before? He has to get on base first. 🙂

Reds released this about Opening Day a little bit ago.
“Four Reds greats will participate in pregame ceremonies for the 143rd Opening Day…
    Eric Davis: ceremonial first pitch
    Johnny Bench: first pitch catcher
    Joe Morgan: honorary captain
    Bronson Arroyo: game ball delivery”

I thought this was pretty cool of the Reds. That will be a nice Opening Day ceremony.

Encouraging signs in the top of the 1st today. Peraza with a 2-run dinger and Suarez with a double.

Both players are out of the game. The leadoff title goes to Hamilton in a resounding upset.

Let us not forget the level of competition here.

Hamilton vs. a couple of guys that will be in AA ball in three weeks.

Winker vs. an above average major league starter.

      • Warren Leeman

Let’s not. All of Billy’s offensive contribution came against EVERYONE hit Gutierrez today (see below). Billy’s only defensive contributions in CF were fielding doubles by Suarez and Ervin.

Vladimir Gutierrez had an absolutely forgettable game today…

    1st inning:
    Double – Sac Bunt (???) – Double – Single – Single – GDP

    2nd inning:
    SO – Double – Single – Single – Single – Shower
