    i believe surrounding Joey Votto with all this proven talent may bode well for a tremendous season and with his mindset that the Reds are finally going to contend at least for the wildcard maybe even another MVP year

    Great break down of the trade and current state of the Nation. I’m excited and optimistic regarding where we go from here and what the 2019 season holds for us. NL Central will be one tough division by all accounts.

    I simply don’t see much downside to this trade. Worst case, it is a “meh” decision but best case it looks like sheer “evil genius” on the part of the Reds FO.
