Have you ever been to Redsfest? I have, as you can tell from the picture above, featuring our ol’ buddy Dusty Baker with the 2009 version of Chad Dotson.
If you’ve been, you know that Redsfest is one of the best things this organization does every year. It’s a first-class celebration of Reds fandom, and every single year I recommend that Reds fans attend and enjoy all the festivities. This year, Redsfest will take place November 30-December 1.
This year, there’s an even better reason to show up on Saturday afternoon. I’m going to be there! My co-author — of “The Big 50: The Men and Moments That Made the Cincinnati Reds” — announced it better than I can:
? ? ? BREAKING? ? ?@dotsonc and I will be signing copies of our book, #Big50Reds at #RedsFest.
We’ll be at the @RedsMuseum booth from 12-2:00 PM next Saturday, Dec. 1.
Finish up your holiday shopping – it makes a great gift for fans of all ages. @TriumphBooks

As noted, Chris and I will be signing copies of our book at RedsFest. We’re going to be signing at the Reds Hall of Fame booth from 12-2:00 pm on Saturday, December 1.
Chris isn’t lying: the book makes a great gift for Christmas. Come by, talk Reds with us, make lame comments about the podcast or RN, and get a book signed to give to your favorite Reds fan this Christmas.
Be sure to mention Redleg Nation when you drop by. Can’t wait to see all of you!
Seeing the picture from almost 10 years ago and noting that this site started in 2005, when did the listserv start and end? I remember the email versions of Red discussion.
Why? The Reds have accomplished practically nothing since the end of the season. Claiming Juan Graterol & Matt Bowman off waivers. Signing a 3 year deal with Iglesias. Revamping the manager & coaching staff. As for improving the product for 2019 & beyond-a big ol’ YAWN. I’ll go to Redsfest when there’s something to get excited about.
