I had the opportunity to join Ken Broo on 700 WLW today to talk about “The Big 50: The Men and Moments that made the Cincinnati Reds.” (That’s the book I wrote with Chris Garber. You may have heard me mention it. Please buy it? Amazon/Barnes & Noble)

Anyway, Ken said some remarkably nice things about the book, and I wanted to give you a chance to hear it, if you missed it earlier. Here’s the link to Ken’s podcast from today’s show; you can find our discussion beginning around the 74:20 mark of the show. It was a lot of fun, and I look forward to being on with Ken again soon.

I also talked with Mo Egger (mostly about the Reds, but also about the book) last week — they replayed the conversation on the WLW Opening Day pregame coverage, just before an interview with Joey Votto — along with Rocky Boiman and Eddie Fingers, plus ESPN 1530’s James Rapien. Lance McAlister is next.

As I say every single time I talk about the book, I want to thank all of you who have spent so much time here at the Nation over the years. You’re a big part of the reason Chris and I were given the opportunity to write it. We certainly hope you are enjoying it. (And if you haven’t bought it yet, stay tuned for a promotion here at Redleg Nation.)

If you have bought it and you’ve enjoyed it, a 5-star review over on Amazon would be greatly appreciated.
