I know, the Reds losing is pretty painful. But they are now on pace for a 68 -94 record for the season. This would currently be good for 4th place in next year’s draft. There are 5 other teams within 4 games of the Reds however, so they’re going to need to step it up a bit to stay in the top five. Yeah, I know, but it’s something to look forward to. At least we’ll have another top prospect to track next season while all the Reds pitchers are off getting MRIs.

Race for the number one pick:

1. Philadelphia 46 – 79 .368
2 Chicago White Sox 49 – 76 .392 3 GB
3 San Francisco Giants 52 -77 .403 4 GB
4. Cincinnati Reds 53 – 74 .417 6 GB

Enough of this glass half full stuff. Let’s see what is happening down on the farm.
