You know Michael Lorenzen is a pitcher, right? Well, Lorenzen keeps providing memorable moments at the plate thus far in his short big league career.
Let’s just take a moment to marvel at today’s pinch-hit home run that gave the Reds the lead in the afternoon victory over the Philadelphia Phillies, a win that pushed the Reds into first place in the National League Central division.
Word to the wise: Don't sleep on @Lorenzen55 at the plate. 💪 pic.twitter.com/HE5mhhyg9S

I got a big old grin on my face when he made contact.
Me too. No doubt.
40 degrees and raining is the worst weather on the planet.
Feels warmer at 30 degrees and snow.
And he hits a 420 foot front door shot that carried like the 4th of July
He should get 4 abs every 4 days, and still pinch hit on off days
Lorenzen and Davis can PH in games that they will not pitch. That offsets the short bench. Will we see Lorenzen in the outfield sometime this season? Only time will tell.
Chapman was far and away my favorite pitcher when he was a Red. I now have a replacement. Thank you Michael.
I was watching the game, and when he came to bat, as I do with most pitchers batting, used the opportunity to look at my phone. Next thing i know, he has knocked it out. Dude is fun to watch.
My 2018 rotation would be Lorenzen, Disco, Finnegan, and then the best 2 of Castillo, Garrett, Reed, and Romano. That could be pretty strong!!
Feldman isn’t much and Arroyo will be a disaster imo but I guess they feel like they need 2-3 stopgaps for this year? Senzel will prob be up for good in May next year and then maybe they can go .500 and have some momentum for 2019!
Anyone have a video with WLW’s call?
