The Good
–Though there were times this year when saying this felt impossible, the bullpen was excellent tonight. 3.1 innings, no hits, one walk.

–On offense, it was one of those nights when everyone pitches in. Suarez did the most, I guess, but he aalso stepped on his own toes a bit,

The Bad
–Nothing that I saw. Kids like to be wakeful when i have the recap, but no real complaints here.

Not-So-Random Thoughts
–I’m not worried about wins and losses at this point. Instead, I’m watching guys like DeSclafani and Suarez to see what the future might be like. Tonight, it was not so bad.

–Since the Reds refuse (apparently) to make a trade until after the ASG, I hope they have a bunch lined up. Time to trade Byrd, for instance, and see what Yorman has. Let’s see about Stephenson, too, while we’re at it. Play the kids.

–It’s not an inspiring season, but like I said last time, baseball is more fun when your favorite team wins.
