It isn’t a bad depth signing if you ask me. jessecuster44 12/01/2014 No – not a bad deal, but not the kind of deal that is a difference maker. Walt still sitting on hands. Tom Reed 11/27/2014 Walt is apparently warming up for the winter meeting coming up next month. Thegaffer 11/27/2014 If there is no trade or signing at winter meetings, Walt will be the Turkey. JohnU 11/27/2014 I don’t think the winter meetings are only about trades. Thegaffer 11/28/2014 http://www.torontosun.com/2014/11/25/jay-bruce-could-become-jays-bruce ohiojimw 11/29/2014 The article sounds to me like the Reds are doing exactly what they should do, listening and then asking for full value and not biting for any less. I found it interesting that the article did not mention that the BlueJays are on Bruce’s no trade list which would obviously increase the cost to the Jays since they would have to buy their way off of Bruce’s no trade list in addition to the talent they would be giving up. I also wonder if the Jays (assuming they initiated the conversation) even at that point they were on Bruce’s no trade list. lwblogger2 12/01/2014 The WKRP episode… Classic. A younger friend of mine had never seen it and just fell all over herself laughing. Kathy Bryan (@Kelby59) 12/05/2014 Thank you for the WKRP classic. Now my Thanksgiving holidays are complete.
