Mike Cosanzo led the Blue Wahoos in the victory by going 3-4 with a triple, 2 runs scored, and an RBI. Tucker Barnhart had a single and a double in 4 at-bats. He scored a run and added an RBI.
Tim Crabbe had a good day on the mound and at the plate. Crabbe picked up the win by pitching 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks. He struck out 5. At the plate, he went 1-2 with a double and 2 RBI. Loek Van Mil picked up his 8th save by pitching a scoreless 9th inning. He struck out 2.
High A
Bakersfield 7 – San Jose 6
Ryan Wright and Juan Perez had 2 hits each in 4 at-bats. Wright had a double, 2 RBI, and scored a run. Perez would add a double and a run scored. Juan Duran only had 1 hit but made it a homerun. It came in the 4th inning and drove in 2 RBI. It was his 14th homerun of the season.
Carlos Gonzalez allowed a run on 5 hits and a walk in 2.1 innings of relief but that was still good enough to pick up the win for the Blaze. It improved his record to 3-2 on the season. Michael Lorenzen allowed 2 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 2 in 2 innings pitched and picked up save number 2.

Dayton 9 – Lake County 7
Phillip Ervin went 2-4 with a double, homerun, run scored, and 3 RBI. The homerun was Ervin’s 1st of the season for Dayton and was a solo shot in the 7th inning. Sammy Diaz scored twice thanks to 2 singles in 4 at-bats. Tanner Rahier went hitless for the Dragons in 3 at-bats but still scored a run and drove in 2 RBI.
Nick Travieso improved to 6-3 with the win. Travieso allowed 4 runs on 5 hits and a walk in 6 innings pitched. Nick struck out 6. Joel Bender recorded his second save by going 1.2 shutout innings. He allowed a hit and a walk while striking out 1.

Jose Ortiz went 1-3 with a double and an RBI. Not much else to see here. Move along.
