Redleg Nation would like to congratulate Redleg Nation Spotlight Player, Tucker Barnhart for being named to the Southern League All-Star team!!!
According to the press release from Pensacola, this is the first All-Star appearance in his professional career (though since he’s on the DL, not sure if he’ll be able to play), though he was named to the organizational All-Star team in 2012.
Tucker is hitting .256/.332/.352 in 2013, with 2 homers and 23 RBI. Through 61 games, he has 1 passed ball and is throwing out 29% of the runners attempting to steal.
