Henry Rodriguez provided most of the offense by going 2-4 with a homerun, 3 RBI, and a run scored. The homerun was a solo shot in the 1st inning for his 4th of the season.
Yohan Pino allowed 7 runs on 11 hits in 5 innings pitched. Pino did not walk a batter and struck out 6 in the loss. Yohan fell to 2-5 on the season. with a 3.81 earned run average.

The Blue Wahoos took a 7-1 lead after 4 innings and then held on in the end for a 1-run victory. Marquez Smith led the way with a 2-4 game including a homerun, double, 3 RBI, and 1 run scored. The homerun was his 2nd of the season. Devin Lohman was 2-3 with a homerun, single, and a walk. Lohman scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Travis Mattair only had 1 hit in 4 at-bats but it accounted for his 11th homerun of the year. Donald Lutz scored a run and drove in a run by going 2-4 with 2 singles in the contest.
Josh Smith improved his record to 6-6 on the season with the win. Smith allowed a run on 5 hits and a walk over 6 innings of work. He struck out 5 and lowered his ERA to 3.50 on the season.

Juan Silva and Juan Silverio went 2-5 each. Silverio had a double and a run scored while Silva added 2 singles. Chris Berset was perfect at the plate,going 2-2 with 2 walks. Kyle Waldrop reached base 3 times by going 1-2 with a single, 2 walks, a run scored, and an RBI.
Mike Dennhardt pitched 5 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and 4 walks while striking out 4. The win improved Dennhardt’s record to 4-6 on the season. Brooks Pinckard, Kyle Lotzkar, and Jimmy Moran combined to pitch 4 scoreless, hitless innings of relief. The trio walked 4 and struck out 6.

Dayton 5 – West Michigan 3
Sammy Diaz, Jeff Gelalich, Brandon Dailey, and Brent Peterson each had 2 base hits in the Dragons win. All 8 of the hits were singles for these four players. Daniel Pigott hit his 1st homerun of the season in the 6th inning. The homerun was a 2-run shot.
Ismael Guillon improved his record to 4-6 with the win. Guillon allowed 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6 over 6 innings pitched. Ben Klimesh recorded his 5th save of the season by pitching a perfect 1.1 innings of relief. He struck out 1.

AZL Mariners 10 – AZL Reds 4
Aristides Aquino and Jose Duarte each went 2-4. Aquino had a double, run scored, and an RBI. Kevin Franklin went 1-2 with a double, run scored, and 2 RBI.
Junior Morillo allowed 2 runs on 9 hits in 3.2 innings pitched in the start. Wagner Gomez picked up the loss by allowing 3 runs on 4 hits and a walk in 1.1 innings of relief.
Phil Ervin went 2-3 with a triple and a walk. His 2 hits were exactly half of the total hits put up by the Mustangs in the loss.
Amir Garrett allowed 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3 in the loss. Garrett went 5 innings.
