I am trying to decide if I should make a football joke here or not?  Every Blaze batter had at least one hit in this game.  Sit back and relax as I recap the hitting highlights for the Blaze in this one.

Marquez Smith had a huge game and was mentioned in our player of the day post at the top.  Ryan Wright went 2-5 with 2 runs scored.  Yorman Rodriguez went 2-3 with a double and a homerun.  He also scored scored 3 times, drove in 2 RBI, and drew 2 walks.  Kyle Waldrop had 2 singles in 4 at-bats as well as a run scored and an RBI.  Yovan Gonzalez went 2-3 with a double, 2 RBI, and 4 runs scored.  Dominic D’Anna only had 1 hit but was still able to drive in 3 RBI.

Low A
Lake County 1 – Dayton 0

The Dragons only had 3 hits in the contest.  Oddly enough, all 3 were doubles by Jessee Winker, Seth Mejias-Breen, and Junior Arias.  Unfortunately, none of those guys could cross home.

Ismael Guillon allowed a run on 3 hits and 2 walks in 5.2 innings pitched.  He dropped to 1-6 on the season.  Ben Klimesh struck out 4 in 2.1 perfect innings pitched.
