Todd Redmond threw 5 innings of 3-hit baseball, allowing 2 unearned runs, 1 walk, and striking out 4. J.J. Hoover tossed a perfect 9th inning with 2 strikouts.

Denis Phipps was 2-for-4 with a double and a solo homerun. Didi Gregorius was 2-for-3 with a walk.

Pensacola 6 – Tennessee 1

Wirfin Obispo allowed just 2 hits and 1 run over 6 innings while striking out 10 batters. Wilkin De La Rosa and Justin Freeman pitched three perfect innings to preserve the win.

David Vidal was 2-for-5 with a homerun and two RBI. Josh Fellhauer was 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a stolen base, and two RBI. Bryson Smith was 2-for-5 with a stolen base, a run scored and two RBI. And of course, Billy Hamilton stole two more bases, walked twice, and scored two runs.

Steve Selsky was 3-for-4 with a double, a solo homerun, and 3 runs scored. Theo Bowe was 3-for-4 with a walk, two stolen bases, and an RBI. Devin Lohman was 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.

Tim Crabbe gave up 5 runs in 5 innings on 4 hits, 3 walks, and 5 strikeouts.

Low A
Lansing 5 – Dayton 2

Nick Masset made a rehab start in Dayton, allowing 1 hit in 1 shutout inning. Wes Mugarian followed with 4.2 innings of 2-hit 2-run baseball. He walked 3 and struck out 7.

No Dragon collected more than 1 hit. Kyle Waldrop (1-for-3 with a walk) had the only extra base hit with a double.

Billings 9 – Helena 4

Seth Mejias-Brean extended his hitting streak to 19 games with a 2-for-3 night. He had a double, a walk, scored twice and had two RBI. Zachary Vincej and Carlos Sanchez also had two hits.

Sal Romano allowed 3 runs on 4.1 innings on 5 hits, no walks and 4 strikeouts.
