Minor League Player of the Day: Louisville Outfielder, Bill Rhinehart, in a day where the pickins were pretty slim, went 3-4 with a double.

AAA

Louisville 9 – Scranton/WB 2

Interesting to see 2 ex-Reds in the Scranton lineup (Chris Dickerson and Russell Branyon).

Bill Rhinehart went 3-4 with a double, Cody Puckett went 3-5 with a double, Dioner Navarro went 2-4 and raised his average to .331, Paul Janish went 2-5 with 2 doubles, Mike Costanzo went 2-5, and Corky Miller went 2-5 with a double. Everyone in the Bats lineup, minus Joey Gathright, had a hit.

Sean Gallagher got the win, going 5, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, walking and striking out 4. Bill Bray went 1.1 scoreless innings, allowing one hit. Nick Christiani threw 1.2 scoreless innings (1 hit), and Jordan Smith threw a scoreless inning (1 hit).

Not much good to report on the Mustangs season debut, the only player with more than one hit was SS Brandon Dailey (2-4 D). The only pitcher to have a scoreless appearance was Jesus Adames, who threw 1.1 scoreless innings, despite giving up 2 hits and 2 walks.
