The Bats tied the game with 2 in the 8th and 2 in the 9th, before falling in 12.

Corky Miller went 3-5, raising his average to .316. Daryl Jones went 2-5 with a double.

Andrew Brackman had another bad start, throwing a hitless inning, but walking 5 and giving up 3 runs. Ron Mahay threw 3 scoreless innings, Kanekoa Texeira threw one, and Nick Christiani threw 3.

Travis Webb got the loss in a terrible outing, going 1.1 giving up the losing run on 1 hit and 4 walks.


The Blue Wahoos had the day off. Nice beach day for the players. There are definite advantages to playing baseball in Pensacola.
