Another strong start for Jeff Francis, going 6, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits, walking 1 and striking out 9. J.J. Hoover picked up his 4th save with a hitless 9th, striking out 2.

Henry Rodriguez led the Blue Wahoos going 2-6 with 2 doubles, driving in 2; Mike Costanzo and Ryan LaMarre both also had 2 hits.
Clayton Tanner threw 1.1 scoreless innings, as did Donnie Joseph. Luis Atliano took the loss, throwing the last 3 innings, allowing 1 run when he wild pitched the winning run across.

Billy Hamilton continued his hot start, going 2-5 with a double and picking up his 10th stolen base. Juan Duran played his first game of the season, going 2-4 and driving in run.
