March means Spring Training games will finally begin! Unfortunately, Fox Sports Ohio is only going to carry one Reds game this spring. The Spring opener will air live, Monday, March 5th, at 3pm ET.

MLB Network is carrying a full slate of preseason action from across the league with at least four games each day. MLBN will air seven Reds preseason games, including a re-run of the Spring opener. (This game will be blacked out in the Cincinnati market.) Three of the MLBN Reds games will air live, and the other four will be tape delayed.

In addition to the games, the Reds will be the second team featured on MLB Network’s 30 Clubs in 30 Days. Their episode debuts on Tuesday, March 6 at 8pm ET.

Though, they won’t carry many actual games this spring, Fox Sports will be reporting from Reds camp daily with Reds Live – Spring Training. This 30-minute show will broadcast new episodes 5 days a week beginning Monday, March 12th until Friday, March 30th.

FSO also released their full regular season schedule last week. They’re airing 145 games again this year, all in HD.

(Footnote for those of you on DISH Network: last year I found many games were not on 427HD, the FSO channel, and many complained that DISH did not carry all the games in HD. On those days, if you scroll up to the “Sports Alternate” channels, you could almost always find the HD game feed on 443HD or 444HD.)
