Chad Reineke got the win as he went 5 IP and allowed 2 R on 6 H and 1 BB with 3 K. Tom Cochran added 3 IP of scoreless relief. Brad Boxberger picked up his 7th save with 1 IP of scoreless relief.

Didi Gregorius and Kevin Coddington each doubled.

Carlos Mendez went 2 for 3. Devin Lohman went 2 for 4. Jose Gauldron doubled.

Matt Fairel got the loss as he went 5.2 IP and allowed 8 R on 13 H and 0 BB with 2 K.

Low A

Dayton 3 – Lansing 2

Billy Hamilton went 1 for 3 with a BB and 3 SB giving him 103 steals for the season. Chris Berset, Jefry Sierra, and Theodis Bowe each went 2 for 3.

Tanner Robles got the win as he went 5 IP and allowed 1 R, 0 ER, on 2 H and 3 BB with 9 K. Chad Rogers picked up his 1st save despite allowing a run in 1 IP of relief.

Rookie Ball

Billings 6 – Missoula 2

Ryan Wright went 3 for 4 with a HR. Spencer Dickinson and Danny Vicioso each went 3 for 4 with a 2B. Steven Selsky went 2 for 4 with a 2B and a BB. Junior Arias went 2 for 4.

Cole Green got the win as he went 6 IP and allowed 2 R on 6 H and 0 BB with 7 K. Erik Miller added 2 IP of scoreless relief.

AZL Reds – Season complete

Finished the regular season in 2nd place, three games back in the AZL Central with a 31-25 record and qualified for the playoffs as the Wildcard team. They lost 9-3 in the one game playoff with the AZL Giants.

    Dragons had already won a franchise half season record number of games. Yesterday they broke the franchise record for season wins…with 83. I think they’re the only team going to the playoffs.
