Matt Maloney went to 6-1 with 6 innings of 4 run (3 earned), 10 hit pitching. He walked none and struck out 4.

No one had more than one hit for the Mudcats, the offensive star was probably Yasmani Grandal with a PH double driving in 2 runs.
Tim Gustafson threw 2 innings of one hit, scoreless relief.

Bad offensive night for the Blaze, only 4 hits, Carlos Mendez had a double.
Wasted a nice start by Tim Crabbe, who went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, walked 1 and struck out 3. Doug Salinas threw a scoreless 8th, giving up one hit and striking out 2.
Low A
Billy Hamilton continued his hot streak again last night, going 2-5 with a double, Ronald Torreyes tied a club records with 2 triples, going 2-3 with a walk, Juan Duran went 2-4 with a double, and Redleg Nation Spotlight Player, Tucker Barnhart went 2-5.
Former #1 pick Kyle Lotzkar continued on the comeback trail from arm problems, throwing 6 shutout innings, lowering his ERA to 4.13, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 4.
He got good support from the bullpen, Blaine Howell a scoreless inning, giving up 2 hits, but striking out 2 and hitless innings from Pat Doyle and Chad Rogers.
NOTE: The Dragons are 40-19 in the second half of the season (on track to break club record for winning percentage) and are closing in on a playoff appearance (magic number is either 4 or 3).
Rookie Ball
Kyle Waldrop went 4-5, Spencer Dickinson went 3-4 with a double and a triple, Bryson Smith went 2-2 with a double and a walk, and Juan Perez went 2-5.
Porfirio Martinez threw 3 innings of relief, allowing 1 run on two hits and striking out 2. Erik Miller got the win (3-0) with a hitless 9th, striking out 2.
Rookie Reds only had 2 hits, dismal offensive day.
