Jeremy Hermida, Denis Phipps, and Devin Mesoraco had 2 hits each with Mesoraco having 2 doubles and an RBI.

Nick Christiani allowed a run in the 10th inning for the loss. Christiani pitched 1.2 innings, allowing a run on 3 hits and a walk.

AA
Chattanooga 6 – Carolina 5
Quintin Berry went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and Bill Rhinehart went 2-4 with an RBI.

Travis Webb fell to 1-7 on the season with a loss in relief.  Webb allowed a run on 2 hits and 2 walks in the 9th inning.

High A
Bakersfield 6 – Lake Elsinore 4
Alex Buchholz went 2-3 with a double, triple, RBI, and a run scored.  Jorge Jiminez hit his 3rd homerun of the season, a 2-run shot in the 3rd inning.  Stephen Hunt homered as well, a 3-run shot in the 3rd inning, giving him 8 on the season.

Mace Thurman picked up the win, despite allowing a run in 1.2 innings of relief.  The win pushes his record to 5-3 on the season.  Doug Salinas recorded his 14th save of the season with a scoreless 9th inning.

Dayton 3 – Great Lakes 2
The Dragons collected only 3 hits, but used those hits combined with 5 walks to scrape out enough runs to win.  Kurtis Muller had a run scored, 2 walks, and a double in 2 at-bats.  He also stole 2 bases.

Daniel Wolford pitched a scoreless 8th inning to get the win and improve to 6-1 on the year while Drew Hayes recorded his 20th save of the season.

Billings 14 – Casper 8
Danny Vicioso went 2-5 with 3 runs scored, a homerun, and 5 RBI.  Juan Silva went 3-4 and scored 3 runs.  Juan Perez had a single and 2 doubles while scoring a run and driving in 2 RBI in 6 trips to the plate.  Bryson Smith and Kyle Waldrop went 2-5.  Smith scored a run and drove in a run while Waldrop tripled and scored twice

AZL Brewers 9 – AZL Reds 1
Steven Selsky hit his 6th homerun of the season, a solo shot in the 9th inning.  Nothing else to see here.  Move along…
