Louisville 6 – Indianapolis 2

Denis Phipps just keeps rollin’ along, going 3-5 with a triple, Kris Negron went 2-5 with a double and triple, and Mike Costanzo went 1-3 with a homer and a walk.

Scott Carroll picked up his 7th win, going 6.2, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, 1 walks, 3 Ks. Carlos Fisher finished up with 2.1 perfect innings, with 2 strikeouts.


Carolina 12 – Chattanooga 11

Bill Rhinehart went 2-4 with 2 homers and 2 walks, Henry Rodriquez went 3-5 with a double, Yasmani Grandal went 3-5 with a walk, Didi Gregorius went 3-7, Eric Campbell went 2-6 with a double, Cody Puckett went 1-6 with a homer.

Brandon Hynick got a blown save and then the win, going 2.2 innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 2, but didn’t allow any runs.
Donnie Joseph picked up his 6th save, going a scoreless inning, but allowing two hits, while striking out 2.

High A

Bakersfield 13 – Lake Elsinore 7

Andrew Means went 4-5 with 2 homers, Kevin Coddington went 2-4 with a homer, Carlos Mendez went 2-5 with 2 doubles, Chris Richburg went 2-5 with a double, Devin Lohman went 1-2 with a homer, 2 walks, and a stolen base.

Daniel Renken picked up his second win in Bakersfield, going 5.2, allowing 7 hits, 3 runs (only one earned), walking 1 and striking out 5.

Low A

Dayton 5 – Great Lakes 4

The Dragons keep on rolling with 2 in the bottom of the 9th. Frank Pfister went 2-4 with a homer, Jefry Sierra went 2-4 with a double, Donald Lutz went 2-3 with a walk, and Ronald Torreyes went 2-5, one knocking in the game winner.

Chad Rogers got the win in relief, throwing the final two scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 2.

Rookie Ball

Billings 9 – Idaho Falls 6

Kyle Waldrop went 2-5 with a double and homer, Sean Buckley went 2-6 and hit his 14th homer, Yovan Gonzalez went 2-4 with a double, Ryan Wright went 2-5 with a double and a walk, and Robert Maddox went 2-6.

Jason Braun threw a scoreless inning, giving up a hit.
