Indianapolis 5 – Louisville 4
Denis Phipps went 2-4 with a double, triple, RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Daniel Dorn went 2-3 with a double, triple, run scored, and 2 RBI.

Jordan Smith allowed a run on 2 hits in the 7th inning to pick up the loss and fall to 0-4 on the season.  Daryl Thompson allowed 4 runs on 9 hits in 6.2 innings pitched.  He struck out 5.

Carolina 9 – Montgomery 4
Bill Rhinehart went 4-4 with 4 singles, 3 RBI, and a run scored.  Since being acquired by the Reds from Washington, Rhinehart is hitting .377/.421/.604 in 15 games.  Neftali Soto went 2-4 with a homerun, RBI, and 2 runs scored.  The homerun was his 26th of the season.  Eric Campbell had a homerun and a single in 4 at-bats with a run scored and 2 RBI.  The homerun was his 7th of the season.

High A
Bakersfield 8 – Rancho Cucamonga 7
Carlos Mendez was a perfect 4-4 at the plate with a double, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored.  Ryan LaMarre, Brodie Greene, and Andrew Means had 2 hits each.  Means had 2 RBI while LaMarre scored twice.  LaMarre also stole his 44th base of the season.  Jorge Jiminez hit a 2-run homerun in the 8th inning, his 2nd of the season with the Blaze, the proved to be the game winner.

Dayton 2 – Lake County 1
Billy Hamilton only had 1 hit in 5 at-bats, but scored both runs in the game for the Dragons including scoring from first base in the bottom of the 11th for the game winning run.  He stole his 80th base of the season in the game, but also made his 34th error as well.

Blaine Howell picked up the win in relief by throwing 3 scoreless innings, allowing 1 walk and striking out 1.  The win improved Howell’s record to 2-1 on the season.

Great Falls 8 – Billings 5
Robert Maddox went 2-4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.  Junior Arias went 2-4 with a double, run scored, and RBI.  Bryson Smith drove in a run and went 2-5 in the game.

AZL Reds 9 – AZL Cubs 8
Humberto Valor went 2-3 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and a run scored.  Steven Selsky and Gabriel Rosa each hit a homerun.  It was their 2nd homeruns of the season.  Brandon Dailey drove in 3 RBI and had 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

Alejandro Chacin pitched a scoreless 9th inning to record his 10th save of the season.
