The hit parade was in full effect for the Bats who pounded out 17 hits total in the win. Dave Sappelt led the hit parade by going 4-5 with a run scored and an RBI. Mike Costanzo was next in line, going 3-5 with 2 doubles, a run scored, and an RBI. Denis Phipps, Danny Dorn, and Jose Castro collected 2 base hits each. Jeremy Hermida managed only 1 hit, but it was his 11th homerun of the season.

Brodie Greene scored a run and drove in a run thanks to 2 singles in 5 at-bats. Stephen Hunt went 2-4 and also drove in an RBI.
Mark Serrano allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings pitched to pick up the loss and fall to 3-7 on the season. He struck out 7. The three homeruns Serrano allowed did him in. Andrew Bowman struck out the side in the 9th inning.

Kyle Waldrop had a triple and a single in 4 at-bats which led to 3 runs batted in. Danny Vicioso reached base 3 times thanks to 3 singles in 4 at-bats. Sean Buckley and Junior Arias each collected 2 hits for the Mustangs. Buckley added a triple and scored twice while Arias belted his 3rd homerun of the season, a solo shot in the 5th inning.
Ryan Kemp allowed 2 runs in the 8th inning to pick up his 1st loss of the season. Kemp allowed the 2 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits and a walk in an inning of relief.

Jon Matthews was the only Reds player to collect 2 hits, going 2-4 with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored.
