Let’s recap today’s titanic struggle….

FINAL
Cincinnati 0
Pittsburgh 2

W: C. Morton (8-5)
L: D. Willis (0-1)
S: J. Hanrahan (27)
BOX SCORE

POSITIVES
–Dontrelle Willis pitched well, but was pulled after 69 pitches and 4.2 innings. Maybe it was because of the rain. I don’t have enough information to know, so I’ll trust Dusty. Either way, the pitching was good tonight, and not to blame.

NEGATIVES
–Charlie Morton has tossed 23 innings against the Reds this year, and our guys have scored exactly one run. That’s ludicrous.

–Three hits? Really?

NOT-SO-RANDOM THOUGHTS
–The Reds haven’t won back to back games in 31 days. Terrible.

–55 minute rain delay. Cincinnati had bases loaded when the rain came in the first, and we saw almost no offense after that. I wish it had rained all night long without stopping.

–That’s all I have for tonight. Miserable game. I’m sick of Charlie Morton.

Milton is disappointed.
