Strange game in Dayton last night….Lotzkar was outstanding, retired the first 9, then in the 4th struggled, then regains his stuff in the 5th, 6th, and 7th. Panerati was about out of trouble in the 8th, on a 3-2 pitch, it was hit into a spot down the RF line that was just out of 3 guys reach, couldn’t have been placed any worse. Tough one to lose.

Was nice to see Spotlight Player Tucker Barnhart hit his second homer.

Thank you Billings from saving us from an organizational sweep.

Congrats to the FOUR Bats to make the AAA All-Star game: Alonso, Hermida, Cozart and Mesoraco. And, Alonso and Mesoraco will represent the Reds in the Futures Game. I have to think if he hadn’t gotten hurt, Sappelt would have also made the ASG, giving the Bats the entire OF for the International League.

Congrats on another HR Tucker! And he threw out another SB attempt. 37 successful, 36 caught stealing. Nice D!
