Travis Wood was optioned to AAA Louisville earlier today and RHP Sam LeCure returned from the DL. LeCure will remain a long reliever in the bullpen. This move may mean that Homer Bailey will start in Wood’s place on Saturday in Baltimore when the Reds take on the Orioles.
