AAA
Louisville 2 – Syracuse 1
Yonder Alonso went 3-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run scored.  Alonso is now batting .321/.375/.497 in 193 at-bats.

Daryl Thompson allowed 1 run on 7 hits while striking out 6 over 5 innings pitched.   He did not factor into the decision however.  David Johnson scattered 3 hits over 2 shutout innings to pick up the win in relief and improve to 3-0 on the season.  Nick Christiani allowed a hit and a walk in the 9th, but held Syracuse scoreless to pick up his 2nd save of the season.

AA
Jacksonville 3 – Carolina 2
Cody Puckett was 2-4 with a single, double, RBI, and run scored.  He is now batting .270/.344/.492 in 185 at-bats.  Felix Perez added an RBI and went 2-4 with 2 singles.  Perez is struggling thus far this season, batting .215/.267/.282 in 177 at-bats. 

Travis Webb allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings of relief to pick up the loss and drop to 1-5 on the season.  Webb has a 6.94 ERA in 35 innings pitched this season.  Jason Braun pitched .2 scoreless innings of relief in his Double-A debut last night.  Braun had pitched 13 games in Dayton this season, posting a 3.97 ERA in 22.2 innings pitched.

High A
Bakersfield 1 – Stockton 0
Didi Gregorius went 2-4 while Stephen Hunt drove in the only run of the game with a homerun in the top of the 6th inning.  The homerun was Hunt’s 5th of the season. 

J.C. Sulbaran pitched 6 shutout innings, allowing only 4 hits and walking 3 while striking out 9.  He picked up the win to run his record to a perfect 3-0 on the season.  In 10 starts, Sulbaran has pitched 51.0 innings while striking out 60 and walking 21.  Mace Thurman struck out 4 in 2 innings of relief while Doug Salinas pitched a scoreless 9th, striking out 1, for his 5th save of the season.

Beloit 6 – Dayton 5
Jefry Sierra went 2-5 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and a run scored.  The two hits gets Sierra’s average over the .200 mark at .204 in 157 at-bats.  David Vidal hit his 6th homerun of the season in the 2nd inning, his only hit of the game.  Chris Berset went 1-2 with a double, 2 walks, and 2 runs scored.

Daniel Renken fell to 2-5 on the season with the loss.  Renken allowed 6 runs (5 earned) on 5 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings pitched.  He struck out 9.  Daniel Wolford and Ezequiel Infante combined to pitch 3 scoreless innings of relief, allowing only 1 hit and striking out 4.
