*Nominee, Lame Headline of the Year Award, 2011

Our friends over at the ESPN SweetSpot blog have a couple of Reds-related posts that you’ll find interesting. First, our old friend Jim Bowden has analyzed the Reds rotation, calling it one of the deepest in the league. While I have some quibbles, it’s mostly a good look at Cincinnati’s starters, although it didn’t mention Aroldis Chapman at all. (Have I mentioned that I think Chapman should be starting? I can’t remember if I’ve written that before.)

Next, our buddy David Schoenfield says what everyone around baseball has realized: Reds-Cardinals is the best rivalry in baseball. Move aside, Yankees-Red Sox.
