Felix Perez went 2-4 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Miguel Rojas went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a base on balls.

Dallas Buck allowed 6 runs (only 1 earned) in 5 innings pitched to fall to 1-2 on the year.  The runs scored on 8 hits, 2 walks, and 2 Carolina errors.  Buck struck out 2.

Bakersfield 12 – Lake Elsinore 7
There were tons of hits for the Blaze in this contest.  Andrew Means and Brodie Greene each went 3-5.  Eric Campbell, Henry Rodriguez, Chris Richburg, and Carlos Mendez supplied 2 hits each.  Campbell had the most impressive day, adding a homerun and driving in 6 RBI.  Rodgriguez also homered.

Lance Janke improved to 2-1 on the season with the win.  Janke allowed 3 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings of work.  His ERA however is a lofty 7.11 on the season.

Dayton’s game against Bowling Green was postponed due to rain.  Dayton and Bowling Green will play a double header today.
