Henry Rodriguez (.408/.427/.549) went 4-6 with a double and 4 RBI, Stephen Hunt (.583/.667/.1.583) went 3-4 with 2 doubles and an HR and 2 walks, Josh Fellhauer (.394/.452/.576) was 3-6 with a double and walk.

Josh Ravin (1.56 ERA, .94 WHIP in 3 starts) continued his strong start, throwing 6 innings, allowing 1 hit, 4 walks and 6 strikeouts.

Dayton 5 – Great Lakes 4

Dayton won their 6th straight game behind Dominic D’Anna (.370/.473/.570) going 3-5, Donald Lutz (.333/.379/.630) went 2-5 with the game winning homer, Jaren Matthews went 2-3 with a triple.

Daniel Renken had a good start for the Dragons, going 5.2 allowing 1 unearned run, on 5 hits and 4 walks, while strking out 4.

    Wow, Stephen Hunt has now homered in each of his first 3 games at A+ Bakersfield. That comes after his 2010 professional debut in 2010 where he put up a slash line of .274/.357/.395/.752 in 124 AB between Rookie level teams AZL Reds and Billings. In joining the Blaze this season, he has completely bypassed the low A Dayton Dragons at this point.
