The Mudcats notched their first win of the season, taking the series finale from the BayBears.

Mike Constanzo went 2-4 with 2 homers, driving in 6 runs. SS Jose Castro went 3-4 with a double, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBIs and Jake Kahaulelio had 2 hits. The bullpen also contributed 4 scoreless innings, including a hitless inning from rehabbing Red Jose Arredondo, who threw a hitless inning, striking out 2.

High A

Modesto 12 – Bakersfield 2

2B Eric Campbell continued his hot start, going 2-4 with 2 doubles and that was about all for the offensive production of the Blaze. Not much good to report about the pitching either as only Mace Thurman escaped unscathed, throwing a hitless 9th.

Low A

Lake County 3 – Dayton 1

Three Lake County Captains no-hit the Dragons in the win. Daniel Wolford threw 2 scoreless innings and Drew Hayes also threw scoreless inning.

Dayton only had one error today (Billy Hamilton picked up his 4th error in 5 games).
