The Reds made their first cuts of the spring today, reassigning nine players to the minor league camp. Those players are: catchers Yasmani Grandal and Chris Denove, outfielder Danny Dorn, and pitchers Jeremy Horst, Daryl Thompson, Philippe Valiquette, Donnie Joseph, Justin Lehr, and our guy, Matt Klinker.
Forty-five players remain in major league camp, but I’d be surprised if every one of the remaining players make the Opening Day roster. Just a hunch.
