Jerry Crasnick at ESPN.com has an Aroldis Chapman profile today.  It’s worth a read.  He has a great quote from Todd Frazier, about getting hit by a 96 MPH Chapman fastball last spring:  “I’m lucky he was just getting loose in the spring. Otherwise it probably would have gone right through my leg.”

From a substantive perspective, the biggest news is Dusty Baker’s firm-ish, but still Dusty-like endorsement of Francisco Cordero as the team’s closer:

“One thing I want to squash right now is there is no closer situation controversy,” Baker said. “I know everybody wants to be in a hurry to rush [Chapman] in there, but we have to get him acclimated to what he’s doing.”
