At Jamie Ramsey’s Better Off Red, there’s a great photo gallery from a great event.  Sunday, the Reds  hosted some kids from the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for the game and a meet-and-greet with Reds players.  You can see how much this means on the faces of both the kids and the players.  Also, Bill Bray apparently signs autographs right-handed.

We never hear about it, but Reds players do a lot of this kind of work, at hospitals around the country.  Bray, Drew Stubbs, and Orlando Cabrera are among the fourteen “All-Star members” of the Athletes for Hope, an organization founded by Andre Agassi, Muhammad Ali, Lance Armstrong, and a bunch of other athletes, which helps athletes find  charitable and service opportunities.  Several other Reds and former Reds are “regular” members.
