Sorry guys, I got busy at work yesterday and was unable to publish the Down on the Farm report. I am making up for it today by recapping the last 2 days of minor league games.

Louisville 6 – Indianapolis 3 : Monday
The Bats win in this game, accompanied by a loss by Columbus, clinched Louisville’s third consecutive division title. Sean Henry went 2-4 with 2 singles, 2 RBI, and a run scored while Todd Frazier went 2-3 with a homerun, RBI, and 2 runs scored. The homerun was Frazier’s 17th of the season. Dave Sappelt also went 2-4 and hit his first homerun of the season with the Bats.
Ben Jukich pitched 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 4. He improved his record to 7-4 on the season. Micah Owings pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits while striking out 2. Jared Burton picked up his 4th save by pitching a scoreless 9th inning.
Louisville did not play on Tuesday and will begin their playoff run on Wednesday against the Durham Bulls.

Tennessee 3 – Carolina 2 – Monday
The Mudcats lost their final game of the season in 1-run fashion. Jake Kahaulelio, Shane Carlson, and Chris McMurray had 2 hits each in the loss. Carlson had a double and a homerun, his first homerun of the season with the Mudcats. Kahaulelio and McMurray had 2 singles apiece.ÂÂ
Travis Webb allowed 3 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings pitched to end the season with a 6-10 record. Abe Woody, Justin Freeman, and Donnie Joseph combined to pitch 4 hitless innings of relief.
High A
Lynchburg 7 – Myrtle Beach 1 – Monday
The Hillcats scored 5 runs in the 8th inning to blow their final game of the season wide open. Cameron Satterwhite went 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Josh Fellhauer had a single and drove in 2 RBI. Neftali Soto and Brodie Greene each scored 2 runs.
Curtis Partch pitched 5 scoreless innings, scatterign 3 hits and striking out 3 to finish at 7-11 on the season.ÂÂ
A
South Bend 5 – Dayton 3 – Monday
Ronald Torreyes doubled and tripled in 4 at-bats. He also scored a run and drove in a run. Chase Weems scored a run and went 2-4 with 2 singles.ÂÂ
Edinson Volquez pitched 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 10.
This was the Dragons final game of the season.
Rookie
Billings 4 – Missoula 1 – Monday
As mentioned above in the Player of the Day portion, Billy Hamilton basically won this game himself. Those 5 stolen bases gives him 48 on the season.
But not to be outdone, Jonathon Correa was outstanding on the hill. Correa allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 6 innings pitched. He struck out 11!

Yorman Rodriguez and Devin Lohman each had a hit and an RBI.
