Minor League Player of the Day:  Ronald Torreyes (Dayton) 3-4, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 run scored.

Indianapolis 5 – Louisville 3
Eric Eymann went 2-4 with 2 singles and a run scored.  Todd Frazier doubled in 4 at-bats, also scoring a run.  

Tied at 3-3 going to the 7th, Daniel Ray Herrera allowed 2 runs on 2 hits to pick up the loss and drop to 2-2 on the season with Louisville.  Herrera struck out 3.

The Bats have already clinched a playoff spot but will need a little help today if they hope to win their 3rd straight division title.  Louisville must win on Monday and have Columbus lose to Toledo in order for the Bats to clinch the division title. 

Tennessee 3 – Carolina 2
Cody Puckett scored and drove in a run while going 2-4 with 2 singles.  He was the only Mudcats player with 2 hits in the game.  Jake Kahaulelio had a double in 3 at-bats and scored a run.

James Avery pitched well in his start, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits and a walk in 6 innings pitched.  He struck out 6.  Ruben Medina allowed a run in the 8th inning on 2 hits to pick up his 2nd loss with Carolina, dropping his record to 4-2.  He struck out 2. 

High A
Myrtle Beach 8 – Lynchburg 3
Kevyn Feiner and Henry Rodriguez had a single each in 4 at-bats and both drove in a run.  Rodriguez also scored a run.  The Hillcats managed only 4 singles in the game.  The Myrtle Beach starting pitcher allowed only 3 hits in 8.1 innings pitched and struck out 12.

Lance Janke and Doug Salinas pitched scoreless innings of relief, each striking out 1 and did not allow a base runner. 

Dayton 6 – South Bend 4
David Vidal went 2-4 with a double, run scored, and 2 RBI.  Tommy Nurre doubled in 4 at-bats.  He also scored a run and drove in 2 RBI.

Jamie Walczak pitched 1.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win in relief.  Walczak walked one and struck out one to pick up his first win with the Dragons.   

Great Falls 3 – Billings 1
Donald Lutz, Devin Lohman, and Oliver Santos each went 2-3 in the game.  Lohman and Santos each had doubles.  Unfortunately for the Mustangs, they outhit Great Falls 8-4 but could only scratch out 1 run in the loss.  Billy Hamilton had a hit in 4 at-bats and stole his 43rd base of the season.

 Tanner Robles fell to 3-3 on the season in the loss.  Robles did not pitch bad, giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings pitched.  He struck out 4.
