Danny Dorn went 3-4 with a double and Eric Eymann went 2-4 with 2 singles.  Wladimir Balentien hit his 25th homerun of the season in a 1-4 game.

Redleg Nation Spotlight Player Matt Klinker struggled for the second straight start.  Matt allowed 5 runs on 9 hits and a walk in 6 innings pitched.  He struck out 5.

The game between Carolina and Mississippi for Monday was canceled.

Lynchburg had a scheduled off-day on Monday.

Dayton 9 – Lansing 7
Trailing 7-2 going to the 9th, the Dragons rallied to score 7 runs in the top half of the 9th inning for a huge comeback win over the Lugnuts.  Justin Reed and Tommy Nurre went 2-5, scored a run, and drove in an RBI.  Frank Pfister and Josh Garton both went 2-4.  Garton had a double, run scored, and 2 RBI while Pfister drove in a run.  Dominic D’Anna scored twice, walked twice, and went 2-3 with 2 singles in the game.

The game between Billings and Orem was canceled.

AZL Reds 6 – AZL Giants 5
Yasmani Grandal went 2-5 with a triple and a strikeout.  He’s played 8 games this season and is batting an even .400.  David Vidal went 2-5 as well, with 2 doubles and an RBI.  Jaren Matthews struck out 3 times, but did go 2-5 with a run scored.

Ismael Guillon struck out 8 and allowed only 3 hits and walked 2 in 5 scoreless innings.    Guillon has 72 strikeouts on the season in 62 innings pitched.
