Louisville 8 – Toledo 0
Yonder Alonso (12th), Danny Dorn (11th), and Devin Mesoraco (3rd) each homered for the Bats in the win.  For Alonso and Mesoraco, their homeruns were their only hits of the game.  Dorn added a double and ended the game 2-4 with 2 runs scored.  Dave Sappelt went 3-5 with a double, RBI, and run scored.  Zack Cozart had a single and 3 RBI.

Jeremy Horst picked up the win in relief for the Bats.  Horst pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 4.  Micah Owings made the start and pitched 3 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 2.

Mississippi 6 – Carolina 2
There isn’t a whole lot to mention here.  The Mudcats managed just 2 hits on offense and struck out 12 times collectively.  Justin Freeman pitched 2 scoreless innings in relief, walking 1 and striking out 1.

High A
Lynchburg 4 – Wilmington 3; final 10
Cody Puckett went 3-5 with 3 singles  and an RBI.  Neftali Soto went 2-4 with a triple and a run.  Shane Carlson hit his 3rd homerun of the season and Kyle Day hit his 7th of the year in the win.

Abe Woody recorded his 2nd win with the Hillcats and improved to 2-0 on the season.  He pitched a scoreless 10th inning, allowing one baserunner via a walk.

Lansing 8 – Dayton 3
Didi Gregorius had an RBI and 2 singles in a 2-4 game.  Josh Garton reached base twice thanks to a double and a walk in 4 plate appearances.

Tim Crabbe allowed 4 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks in 5.2 innings pitched to pick up the loss and drop to 3-7 on the season.  Crabbe did strike out 6 however.

Rookie
Orem 9 – Billings 1; final 7
Billy Hamilton had a double in 3 at-bats to go 1-3 in the game while Dayne Read hit his 3rd homerun of the season to provide all of the offense for the Mustangs.

Mike Henry struck out 4 and allowed only one hit in the final 2 innings of the game.  Unfortunately for the Mustangs, the game was pretty much over by that point.

The Arizona League Reds had a scheduled off-day on Sunday.  According to their schedule, the AZL Reds will conclude their season on Monday with a game against the AZL Giants.
