Indiana’s favorite catcher, Tucker Barnhart, also threw out both stolen base attempts. In August, Barnhart is batting .410/.500/.538. He’s got a .343 avg and .883 ops in his first full professional season so far.

Kyle Lotzar started that Billings game. You may remember him as a supplemental first round draft pick in 2007. He hasn’t pitched since 2008. In 10 games this year (8 for AZ Reds and 2 for Billings), including 8 starts, Lotzkar has a 2.36 ERA, 34.1 ip, 24 hits, 13 bb and 43 K. He is yet to allow a run in his 2 Billings starts, 10 innings, 1 walk and 16 strikeouts.

    Aroldis Chapman’s August? 12 appearances, 13.1 ip, 4 hits, 4 walks, and 24 strikeouts. 1.35 ERA, 2-0 record, and 7 saves.
