Louisville 6 – Indianapolis 3
The Bats scored 3 in the 8th and 3 more runs in the 9th for a late rally to win.  Yonder Alonso led the charge, going 3-5 with a double, homerun, 2 RBI, and a run scored.  The homerun was Alonso’s 11th of the season with the Bats and 14th overall this season.  Corky Miller also homered, his 6th of the year with Louisville.  Miller ended the night going 2-4 with 2 runs scored, a double, and 3 RBI.  Wladimir Balentien went 2-5 with a double and a stolen base.

Philippe Valiquette pitched a scoreless 8th inning for the win and Aroldis Chapman struck out 2 in a scoreless 9th inning for his 8th save of the season.

AA
Birmingham 9 – Carolina 5
Sean Henry went 3-5 with a run scored and 2 RBI.  Luis Terrero hit his 4th homerun for Carolina and drove in 2 RBI in 3 at-bats.  Carlos Mendez and Jake Kahaulelio each went 2-4.  Kahaulelio drove in an RBI while Mendez scored a run.

Bradley Boxberger watched his ERA soar to 10.65 in 23.2 innings with Carolina after allowing 4 runs on 3 hits and a walk in 1 inning pitch.  Boxberger also recorded the loss to drop to 1-4 with the Mudcats.  All of this after going 4-6 with a 3.19 ERA in 62 innings pitched with Lynchburg.

High A
Lynchburg 5 – Winston Salem 0; final 7.5
Neftali Soto had only 1 hit but drove in 2 RBI and scored a run in 4 at-bats.  Josh Fellhauer and Kevin Coddington each went 2-3 for the Hillcats. 

Josh Ravin remained perfect for the Cats.  Ravin picked up the win after pitching 5.2 scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5.  His ERA remains at 0.00 in 3 starts for Lynchburg and the win bumps his record to 2-0.

Dayton 3 – Lake County 1
The Dragons managed only 4 hits, but made the most of them.  Kevyn Feiner had 2 of the hits, going 2-3 with a homerun, run scored, and 2 RBI.  The homerun was his 3rd of the season for the Dragons.

Clayton Shunick allowed 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 2 over 6 innings pitched to improve to 2-1 on the season.  Doug Salinas struck out 2 and allowed a hit in the 9th to record his 7th save of the season.

AZL Reds 17 – AZL Indians 7
Was this a game between two minor league baseball teams, or a game between the Bengals and the Browns?  Five different Reds players had at least 2 hits.  Six different players scored at least 2 runs.  Five different players had at least 2 RBI.  Ronald Torreyes went 3-6 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.  Junior Arias went 2-5 with a homerun, a run scored, and 4 RBI.   The homerun was his 6th of the year.  David Vidal went 3-4 with a double, homerun, 2 walks, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored. William Harford went 2-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. 

Patrick Quinn struck out 3 and allowed only 1 hit in 2 scoreless innings of relief.
