Louisville 8 – Norfolk 7
Yonder Alonso went 2-4 with 2 runs scored.  Zack Cozart and Todd Frazier were each 2-5.  Cozart doubled, had 2 RBI, and scored a run.  Frazier doubled, scored 2 runs, and had an RBI.  Wilkin Castillo went 2-3 with a double, RBI, and scored a run.
Sam LeCure improved to 7-2 with the win.  LeCure allowed 3 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks in 5.2 innings pitched.  Aroldis Chapman wasn’t as sharp in this one, though he did pick up his 5th save.  Chapman allowed 3 runs (2 earned) on 2 hits in 1.1 innings pitched.  He did strike out 3.ÂÂ

Carolina 8 – Chattanooga 6 ; final 10
Mike Costanzo went 3-5 and hit a walk-off homerun in the 10th to win it for the Mudcats.  He also had a double, drove in 2 RBI, and scored 2 runs.  Kris Negron was a perfect 3-3 at the plate and reached base 5 times in all thanks to 2 walks.  Brandon Yarbrough had a single and a double in 4 at-bats.  He also had 2 RBI.  Dave Sappelt had 2 runs, 2 RBI, 2 walks, and went 1-3.ÂÂ
Jeremy Horst struck out 3 and allowed a hit and walked a batter in 1 inning pitched.  He picked up the win in relief, improving to 3-2 on the season.
High A
Lynchburg 8 – Kinston 3
Kyle Day hit a 1st inning grand slam for his 6th homerun of the season.   He added a single and went 2-4 with 2 runs and 4 RBI.  Kevin Coddington went 2-4 with a run and an RBI.  Brodie Greene and Shane Carlson both went 2-5 with an RBI.  Carlson added a run scored.
In his first High A start, Justin Walker pitched 5 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6 to pick up the win.  Walker was 3-10 with Dayton with a 5.88 ERA prior to being called up to Lynchburg.ÂÂ

West Michigan 21 – Dayton 10

Ryan LaMarre and Cameron Satterwhite had 3 RBI each.  Satterwhite was 3-4 with 3 singles, a walk, and a run scored.  Satterwhite had 2 singles, a double, and 2 runs scored.  Andrew Means and Didi Gregorius were each 3-6 with 2 runs scored.  Means hit his 2nd homerun of the season and added a double and an RBI.
The pitching was brutal.  Tim Crabbe allowed 8 runs on 3 hits and 4 walks.  He only recorded 2 outs and left in the first inning.  In the pitchers defense, the Dragons committed 5 errors which led to 8 unearned runs.   ÂÂ
Rookie
Missoula 2 – Billings 1ÂÂ
Juan Duran had 2 of the 6 Billings hits.  He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.  Billy Hamilton had a double in 4 at-bats with an RBI.
Jonathon Correa made his first start for Billings and gave up 2 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings pitched.  He pitched well, striking out 5, but still picked up the loss.
AZL A’s 4 – AZL Reds 2
The Reds outhit the A’s 11-4, but still fell short on the scoreboard.  Jaren Matthews went 1-3 with a solo homerun in the 1st inning.  The homerun was his 6th of the season.  Junior Arias and Robert Maddox each had 2 hits in 4 at-bats.  Arias had 2 singles and scored a run while Maddox had a double, triple, and drove in an RBI.  Adam Muenster and Jeff Taylor each had 2 singles in 3 at-bats and drew a walk.  Ronald Torreyes made his second start with Arizona and went 2-5.  Torreyes hit .390/.468/.606 in 67 games in the Venezuelan League.
